Steve Barrett

As Project Director for Paradise Ridge, a 2,200-acre master planned community in Phoenix adjacent to Scottsdale, Barrett is responsible for day-to-day operations, development plan coordination, land use approvals and permits, golf and sports club design and development. In addition, he manages all aspects of project disposition and operations including contractual negotiations with the Arizona State Land Development of sale/lease terms for disposition of property at auction and future contractual negotiations with prospective end users.

Barrett joined Landmark’s California desert operations in 1985 as Vice President of Landmark Real Estate. In 1987, he was named Vice President/Assistant Project Director of Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California.

Barrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma where he played Safety on Big 8 Conference Championship football teams and in the Orange Bowl and Bluebonnet Bowl. Barrett was an assistant football coach at the University of Oklahoma, University of Wyoming and University of Colorado. Barrett also was a district manager for a major gas company.

Prior to joining Landmark, Barrett was assistant general manager and director of player personnel for the United States Football League’s New Jersey Generals.
