Ed Gerlach, ASLA
Landmark Golf
Vice President / Director of Design

A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Landscape
Architecture, Gerlach is a registered landscape architect in California
and Texas and has 27 years experience in nationwide and international
landscape architecture, golf course design and community master
planning.

Since 1985, Gerlach has played a significant role with Landmark
in the planning and design of some of the company’s most outstanding
golf course community developments in California including: PGA
West in La Quinta, Mission Hills North in Rancho Mirage, Oak Valley
in Beaumont and Calimesa, Carmel Valley Ranch Resort in Carmel and
Moreno Valley Ranch in Moreno Valley.

Gerlach joined Landmark Golf in 1998 and was instrumental
in the design and construction of Landmark Golf Club in Indio, California
and Landmark Golf Club at Oak Quarry near Riverside, California.

Gerlach heads the Design Division of Landmark Golf and is
responsible for planning, design and preparation of construction
drawings as they relate to golf course design, landscape architecture
and land planning. Gerlach, in consultation with Landmark Golf’s
principals Ernie Vossler, Joe Walser, Jr., Johnny Pott and Andy
Vossler, provides the creativity and technical expertise to direct
the Design Department.
